UGV [Unmanned Ground Vehicle]

Barq Technologies is a defense robotics startup developing next-generation unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) for tactical reconnaissance and remote threat response. Our mission is to enhance frontline safety through agile, remotely operated robotic platforms that reduce risk to personnel. Our flagship Frontline UGV combines real-time surveillance with a compact dual-barrel launcher, bridging the gap between conventional scouting robots and expensive combat vehicles. The platform features a reinforced chassis, optimized weight distribution, a low center of gravity, synchronized targeting, and an intuitive single-screen control interface for precise, low-latency operation. Built on a modular architecture, our roadmap includes dedicated reconnaissance UGVs and expendable strike UGVs. Currently bootstrapped, Barq Technologies has successfully designed and validated a functional pathfinder prototype demonstrating mobility, remote operation, and targeting capabilities. We are seeking strategic partnerships, government collaborations, and commercial opportunities to accelerate the deployment of cost-effective, mission-ready autonomous defense systems.

Beecortex

UGV [Unmanned Ground Vehicle]

Beecortex is a robotics and industrial inspection company based at the National Incubation Center, NED University, Karachi. The company develops inspection hardware and software for asset integrity monitoring in the oil, gas, and process industries. Products Spider is a magnetic crawler system for ultrasonic thickness gauging of storage tanks, enabling corrosion mapping without scaffolding. Cartoscope is a handheld LiDAR scanner for rapid dimensional and structural surveys. Flexitrack is a pipe crawler for internal inspection of piping networks. The company also develops an aerial inspection platform for visual and sensor-based external asset surveys. Services Beecortex provides non-destructive testing data collection, defect mapping, and corrosion-rate analysis services, supporting inspection teams with field deployment and data processing. The company has completed technology pilots with PSO and TUV Rheinland, and delivers commercial inspection services to clients including Indegrity and Sadaat NDT.

Our focus is on developing predictive, learning-based systems that anticipate human actions and needs, enabling robots to collaborate effectively in dynamic settings. Through embodied cognition and continual reasoning, we aim to advance methodologies and tools that make cognitive robotics both socially impactful and industrially relevant.
